Munich’s HIGH END Show Moves To Vienna In 2026

Each May, the audio world gathers for the HIGH END show, where exhibitors from more than 40 countries show off their their latest innovations in the halls and atriums of Munich’s MOC Event Center. The HIGH END 2025 will be held in Munich from May 15th to 18th of next year. But after 21 years in Munich, the HIGH END audio show will move to Vienna in 2026. The HIGH END SOCIETY, which sponsors the show, announced the move at the annual general meeting of the HIGH END SOCIETY Association for High Quality Audio and Video Reproduction, which took place on September 11th, 2024. The show’s organizers believe that this move will provide the best conditions for the show and its many exhibitions.

The Austria Center Vienna (ACV) will be the show’s new home. Described as a first-class event venue, the ACV has reportedly undergone extensive renovations in recent years, and offers “a variety of modern rooms in different sizes for exhibitors to best showcase their products and technologies,” according to the HIGH END SOCIETY. The main building includes several levels covering a massive 280,000 square feet of exhibition space, providing exhibitors with “optimal conditions for their various needs.” Munich’s MOC Event Center is notorious for its glass-walled rooms and echoey halls, so it will be interesting to see whether exhibitors can achieve better sound quality for demonstrations in the new venue. In November of 2023, the Austria Center Vienna was home to a different show called FINEST AUDIO SHOW, and the companies that took part offered “consistently positive feedback” about the facility. The HIGH END SOCIETY sees “promising prospects and optimal opportunities for the further development of the HIGH END audio show with the change of venue,” according to the press release covering the announcement.

The Austria Center Vienna not only scores with excellent exhibition conditions, but also with a progressive environment that will raise the level of the HIGH END and ensure its success in the coming years.
