About Us
Audioholics is the LARGEST Audited Home Theater Review publication - online or in print. We have grown over the past two and a half decades to become the most influential website and social media platform in the marketplace. Stressing objective measurements and a concern for our readers' pocketbooks, Audioholics has proven itself to be a place for unbiased research, reviews and information. With an audience of 2 million enthusiasts per month across ALL of our platforms, we must be doing something right!
Our objective is to provide the most informed, unbiased editorial created by our journalists and writers. We also need to pay our staff and website costs so we earn revenues in a number of ways. Audioholics accepts banner advertisements from numerous reputable AV companies that have established brand trust over the years from us verifying their product performance and reliability in testing and reviews. Audioholics sometimes use affiliate links to products and services on our channel partner retailer sites for which we can receive compensation if you click on those links or make qualified purchases through them. From time to time we also publish advertorials (paid-for editorial content) and sponsored content on the site and our Youtube channel. When this is the case the content is clearly marked as sponsored or promoted, so you’ll always know which content is editorial and which is not.

Audioholics Celebrates 25 Years - On April 18th, 1999, I launched a new online AV Publication called Audioholics with the tag line "pursuing the truth in audio...". We are pleased to be celebrating 25 years of publishing excellence thanks to the support of our readership and partners that have helped to keep the dream alive.
- About Audioholics - Pursuing the Truth - This site is a direct result of what happened when a group of Engineers got frustrated with marketing gimmicks in the Audio Industry and took it upon themselves to pursue the truth and educate the masses.
- Staff and Contributor Biographies - Get to know the Audioholics staff who write the reviews and technical articles across and also produce our Youtube content. Jump in and read up on some very interesting, educated and well-versed industry folk.
- The History of Audioholics.com - A trip down memory lane seemed appropriate once we decided that Audioholics needed its final overhaul. I say FINAL because I am determined to never go through this process again... This isn't the first time Audioholics has undergone a transformation, but until this one they have always been superficial - dealing with the look or aesthetics of the website.
- A Guide To Audioholics -Audioholics.com is known as THE go to place for in-depth AV reviews, industry updates, and educational articles. What some people don’t realize is that Audioholics.com is only one part of Audioholics. We have very active forums, Twitter and Facebook social media pages, Wikipedia page, and a regularly updated YouTube channel with video reviews and interviews shot at our very own HD video production studio. This article gives a quick explanation of each portion of Audioholics allowing individuals new to Audioholics a basic understanding of what we do and why we do it. If you're new to the Audioholics community, this is a must read!
- Audioholics Staff AV and Two-Channel Reference Systems- Check out the equipment we use in our reference systems to compare products that come in for our full reviews.
- Calibration & Measurement Gear -This is the test gear we use to do objective measurements of amplifiers, loudspeakers, subwoofers, HDTVs and more. Third party testing by our professional review staff is what stands us apart from the typical AV magazine that ONLY do subjective reviews with no test data to back up their claims or keep the manufacturers honest.
