Savant Video Server, Remotes & Keypads
Savant Systems LLC proudly announces three new products designed to meet the demands of today’s custom installations. All three products made their debut at CEDIA Expo 2007.
The ROSIE Streaming Video Server has been engineered to stream up to four simultaneous and independent standard definition (SD) video streams to Savant’s entire suite of touchpanels including the new and exciting ROSIE Coffee Table Touchpanel Controller. The ROSIE Streaming Video Server is configurable with up to four independent SD video server modules, which can stream SD video content from DVD players, cable and satellite boxes, CCTV, and IP network cameras. The ROSIE Streaming Video Server will be showcased during CEDIA Expo 2007, streaming standard definition videos and controlled from Savant’s suite of touchpanels.
Savant has announced the introduction of two ROSIE Traditional Multi-button Remotes to complement its innovative and contemporary remote design. Two versions (twenty-seven button and seventeen button) both featuring integrated “scroll wheels” are being showcased at CEDIA Expo 2007. The new remotes are easily programmed using RacePoint Blueprint™, which is the common design tool and creation environment used in Savant’s suite of user interfaces: touchpanels, remotes, keypads and their Rotating Icons On-Screen Display (OSD).
The ROSIE Remote Control solutions offer a key technical innovation—heads-up navigation via the ROSIE Programmable Rotating Icons OSD. The programmable OSD control application bundled with RacePoint Blueprint™ enables Savant integrators to tailor user interaction in order to reflect the preferences of each individual homeowner. This level of customization enables consumers to feel comfortable operating their ROSIE system as they select multimedia content or control any number of residential electronic devices.
Savant is also proud to announce the addition of programmable ROSIE Keypads to their family of user interfaces. A whole-house audio keypad and multifunction keypad is being showcased at CEDIA Expo 2007, and both have been engineered to be easily programmed and customized using RacePoint Blueprint™. Both new ROSIE Keypads fit in a single standard-gang box and can be controlled in either a wired or wireless configuration.
