Tripp Lite HTRL15 UPS & HT7300PC Power Conditioning Center

Tripp Lite showed two of it's latest power production products this week at the CEDIA Expo in Denver, CO.

The HT7300PC, which features sequenced and individually controllable AC outlets and dual blue illuminated digital displays, will catch the attention of custom installers. The unit comes with a remote to control the switching of the outlets. Now shipping with an MSRP of $499.

The HTRL15UPS Line-Interactive Digital UPS System offers voltage regulation, surge suppression and long-lasting battery support for home theater/media center components and other sensitive electronic equipment, including PVRs/DVRs, media center PCs/servers, home automation/control systems and security equipment. Internal UPS circuits support entry-level PCs or individual VCR/DVR components during power failures, preventing data loss, viewing interruptions, lost recordings and loss of component programming. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) circuits regulate brownouts and overvoltages from 75V to 147V back to usable levels without consuming battery power.

Flexible mounting options include support for upright tower, flat shelfmount or 2U rackmount installation in an attractive all-black cabinet design. The unit includes 8 battery-supported outlets. A built-in USB port and DB9 serial port enable optional unattended system shutdown without data loss in case of extended power failure; cabling included.

HID-compliant USB interface enables full integration with built-in power management and auto shutdown features of Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Built-in single-line RJ-45 jacks offer protection for equipment with single-line tel/DSL or network Ethernet connection. Three sets of 2.2 GHz coaxial jacks protect against surges entering on CATV, satellite or broadcast antenna connections.

A built-in audible alarm and large LCD front panel status screen indicates line power status, battery power status, battery low/replace status and voltage boost operation. 1500VA/900W power-handling capacity supports entry-level PCs, home entertainment systems, network workstations and audio/video components. The HTRL15UPS offers 3.5 min. battery runtime with a full load of 1500VA/900W and 13 min. with a half load of 750VA/450W. The MSRP: $349.95
