DVIGear Debuts Digital Connectivity Products

DVIGear, a leading provider of digital connectivity solutions, announced a suite of new connectivity products at the CEDIA Expo that offer greater performance and versatility for home theater designers, installers and enthusiasts.

"With the emergence of 1080p as the high definition resolution of choice, we felt that we had to raise the bar for higher performance. So, we've engineered an entirely new product line from the ground up that is compatible with 1080p resolution and beyond."

DVI Distribution Products
Designed to meet the most demanding installation requirements, DVIGear's new DVI distribution products deliver superior performance and reliability for a broad range of PC and HDTV applications. Five (5) models are now available, including: a high performance DVI Repeater, a 2x1 and 4x1 DVI Switcher, as well as a 1x2 and 4x1 DVI Splitter. All units are HDCP compliant and are compatible with the full spectrum of single-link DVI signals with pixel rates up to 165 MHz (1.65 GBitsec.), which allows them to accept HDTV signals with resolutions up to 1080p and PC resolutions up to 1920x1200 / 60Hz. These units are housed in a rugged, yet extremely compact enclosure and come with a UL-rated external AC power supply. All units are FCC Class B rated, and are ideal for either residential or commercial use.
