Sherbourn Technologies announced the introduction of a powerful new fan unit, Model C12, for use in home theater and custom installations.

"We are continually being asked for recommendations for keeping the electronics environment cool in home theater and custom installations. Our engineers set out to design a self contained unit that would circulate/exhaust a great deal of air without introducing unwanted noise," said Ron Fone, President of Sherbourn. "The solution that we have introduced is a unique design that can be configured to either inhale cool air or exhale the hot air from the electronics environment be it a cabinet or closet."

Featuring a 2U high, full rack width foot print, the Sherbourn C12-FAN employs three 4 .75" fans and can be easily accomodated in any application utilizing the supplied rack mount panel or as a stand alone application.

The C12 has a built in temperature and pig-tailed remote thermistat switch to automatically control the thermally governed fans. In addition, the C12 has a sync switch to allow two units within the same installation to operate in tandem. The C12 also features a 12-volt trigger.

The optional exhaust-hose kit, H10, allows for easy adaptation to any installation and flawlessly exhausts hot air from the environment through the C-12 using the flexible, heat resistant hose attachment.
