Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere Compact Speakers for iPod Review [0.22] by jclarke,October 27, 2007 07:41
Lately I find myself traveling quite a bit, which means lots of time in hotel rooms away from my home theater. I take my iPod for the flights, but in my room I tend to just turn on the TV, or if I am working, just play music through my laptop speakers. Logitech has just released a new portable speaker system designed for iPod called the Pure-Fi Anywhere, and after testing it over the past month I can tell you that it is worth considering if you are looking something that sounds big, yet can be packed in your carry-on.
Denon AH-NC 732 Headphones Review [0.22] by jclarke,October 03, 2008 12:57
The Denon AH-NC732 noise canceling headphones join a crowded category of products that frequent flyers are finding they cannot live without. It seems that only a few years ago your only choice for active noise canceling headphones was from the four-letter marketing machine, and you were paying top dollar for a mediocre product and lots of advertising. Denon took it's time entering the fray, but they have delivered some strong competition with the introduction of the AH-NC732 headphones.

As a result, the speakers are pleasing to look, yet easily blend into almost any type of room.
Sierra Sound iN Studio 5.0 Smart Speakers Review [0.22] by jclarke,July 02, 2008 12:16
To call the Sierra Sound iN Studio 5.0 speaker system an iPod speaker system would be to miss the point entirely. This is a very well-built, great looking pair of bookshelf speakers that happen to be powered, and also have a built-in iPod dock on top. After living with these speakers in variety of locations around my home and office for several weeks, I found plenty to write about.
B&W Zeppelin Speaker System for iPod Review [0.22] by jclarke,November 28, 2007 20:00
B&W's Zeppelin speaker system for iPod looks more like a piece of modern art than a set of speakers. Then again, it looks more like a black and chrome version of the Hindenburg than modern art. So aside from being aptly named, how does it sound? Priced at $599, B&W calls it "audiophile grade" and "stunning." I for one was ready for this thing to land at my house so I could find out for myself.
Denon AVR-588 AV Receiver Review [0.22] by gary,January 01, 2008 20:20
The new entry level Denon AV receiver is out and it is packed with more features than anybody has a right to expect for around $350. With plenty of connectivity options, features, and power, it’s hard to think of any reason a serious home theater enthusiast on a budget wouldn’t want to anchor their system with the AVR-588. While it is a very impressive A/V receiver, it will require some work to set it up in your theater and make full use all of its features.

When shopping for speakers, Aperion Audio is one of those companies that should be high on your list. From the minute you point your browswer to their homepage, you will find quality. I think they have one of the better websites I have seen. It is easy to navigate, and is chock full of information and resources.

The Denon AH-C551K represents the middle of the pack of Denon's recently introduced line of in-ear headphones. Denon brings their reputation for high fidelity to the table with these in-ears that feature an 11 mm Nedodymium magnet driver that provides fantastic bass response. While they sound great, the fit will depend on how well you tolerate earbud-type headphones.
