2014 Consumer Excellence Awards - Submit Entries NOW!

It's time for the Audioholics 2014 Consumer Excellence Awards which are given to products that push the limits of consumer electronics excellence and excel in their respective categories. There has been a lot of advancement in CE technology lately, so it's important to us that we highlight the products we feel exceed industry norms and deliver consistent excellent results to consumers, custom installers and retailers alike.  If you're an A/V manufacturer or PR Firm, you won't want to miss out on the opportunity to submit your products for consideration of our coveted 2014 Consumer Excellence Award.  Imagine displaying our beautiful crystal holographic award plaque at trade shows for consumers to gawk at and your competitors to envy.  

The Awards

The "Consumer Excellence" awards are given to 1 product in each of 55 subcategories. We will also award up to 2 additional "Consumer Excellence Hot Product" designations for each of the available product categories. The deadline to enter is May 31th, 2014. The winners of the Consumer Excellence Awards will be announced by July 1st, 2014.

The Criteria and Judging Process

Each product submission will be carefully examined by four senior members of the Audioholics staff who will individually select three top products from each subcategory, ranked from 1-3. These selections will then be compared  to arrive at a consensus on the award-winning products.

Criteria for winning submissions include:

• Advanced audio and video technologies pushing the CE market - product and technology innovation
• Uniqueness in CE market
• Time or money-saving features, including ease of use
• Value for end-user and/or custom installer
  

Eligibility

Submitted applications must be on behalf of real products - either currently shipping or scheduled to ship with a firm deadline of May 31th, 2014. Products must have all information correctly filled out on the submission form. There is no limit to the number of products that can be submitted (you can submit up to 3 at a time) and manufacturers may be domestic or international. If you represent a service or technology, please submit an entry through a manufacturer partner that utilizes or integrates your services.

Deadlines

Submission deadline:  May 31st , 2014.  Winners to be announced by July 1st, 2014.

Administrative Entry Fee

There is a $150 administration fee for the first product and $100 for each additional product submission. This covers the cost of the awards as well as administering the awards program.
