CE Awards Entry Rules

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER?
Any manufacturer with a real physical consumer electronics product which will ship on or prior to March 31, 2010. Manufacturer does not have to be US-based and products do not have to necessarily target US citizens.

IS THERE AN ENTRY FEE?
There is is a small administrative fee to cover the awards program costs. The fee is $150 for the first entered product by a manufacturer and $100 for additional products. Manufacturers can enter any number of products but each SKU must be entered separately (for example, a manufacturer cannot enter a "line" of AV receivers as one product.)

THE AWARD 
The prestigious Consumer Excellence Award is given out by Audioholics to manufacturers whose products demonstrate innovation, industry-leading technology, and value to both consumers and custom installers/dealers. Winners of the primary award in each category will receive a physical acrylic award via mail. Both "Consumer Excellence" and "C.E. Hot Product" award winners will be allowed to use the official Audioholics award logo on their website and print materials to designate reception of the award to their dealers, consumers and distributors.

WHEN WILL THE CONSUMER EXCELLENCE AWARD WINNERS BE ANNOUNCED?
Audioholics will be announcing the winners of the 2009 Consumer Excellence Awards by the end of January. Award winners will be posted at Audioholics.com. Awards will be mailed to manufacturers.

HOW DO I ENTER THE COMPETITION?
You must fill out and fax the Administration form to us at 888-205-3402. Audioholics.com is not responsible for any hardware, software or communications error resulting in failure to receive and register any entry. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed to belong to the holder of the initiator of the entry. All entries are the property of Audioholics.com, and Audioholics.com reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates the rules or tampers with the promotion or the web site. Audioholics.com reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the entire promotion at any time. If promotion is terminated for any reason, notice will be promptly posted at http://www.audioholics.com.

WHEN IS THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE?
All entry forms/material submissions must be submitted before the deadline. Deadline for entry is midnight, December 31, 2009!

WHAT ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Audioholics assumes all entries are legitimate tangible products which will be shipping to consumers and/or dealers prior to March 31, 2010.

You may submit as many products as you'd like to one of following categories (each product many only be submitted to one category per entry. Additional products may be entered as desired and a single product may be entered again to a separate category if applicable. The available categories are:

Audioholics reserves the right to recategorize entries and to create new categories, if appropriate.

HOW MANY PIECES MAY I ENTER?
As each entry is separate, you may enter as many products as you wish.

WHAT FORMATS DO YOU ACCEPT FOR SUBMITTING MY IMAGES?
All entries must be submitted as follows:

1. The official entry form is the only format accepted for this award. You must fax the Administrative form before any entry is deemed official or acceptable.
2. Please include up to 3 images of the product in JPG format. If there are connections on the rear of the unit please try and include this as one of the photos. Photos should be emailed to us at info@audioholics.com with the Subject line "2009 C.E. AWARDS - MANUFACTURER - MODEL NUMBER" Please have one email per product.
3. It is not required that product samples be submitted, however if you feel a sample is important as part of our consideration please contact us at info@audioholics.com to arrange for shipment.

CD-ROMs and prints submitted will not be returned. Entries not complying with the contest rules are subject to disqualification.

HOW WILL ENTRIES BE JUDGED?
Selection of 120 finalists will be conducted by a panel of Audioholics Editors. Those finalists will then be re-evaluated to select the final 2007 Consumer Excellence winners (one per category). The panel will consist of any or all of the following: Editors, Staff Reviewers, Contributing Writers with CI backgrounds. From the remaining entries, Audioholics will select up to 2 products from each category to receive a "C.E. Hot Product" Award (these are at the discretion of the selection committee and are designed to recognize products that deserve recognition for meeting and exceeding the criteria of the primary award.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Void where prohibited or restricted by law. By entering or accepting an award, the winner agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and to comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Any federal, state, or local taxes which may apply are the sole responsibility of the award winners.

LIST OF WINNERS: 
Following the selection of the awards, the award winners' names and product info will be posted at www.audioholics.com. The name of the winner may also be obtained by sending a request, specifying the name of the award, to: 8631 Little Road, Suite 1, Box 118, New Port Richey, FL 34654.
