Audyssey Labs Announces New “Audyssey Installer-Ready” Receiver from Denon
Los Angeles , CA - August 20, 2006 -Audyssey Laboratories, the developer of the groundbreaking MultEQ room correction technology, announced that the new Denon Electronics' AVR-5805CI receiver will be Audyssey Installer-Ready. The AVR-5805CI receiver will be on display at the Denon booth at CEDIA Expo 2006.
Denon installers can provide the ultimate sound experience to their AVR-5805CI customers by joining the Audyssey Certified Installer program. The program certifies installers for using the Audyssey Installer Kit and Audyssey MultEQ Pro PC software that equalizes all Audyssey Installer-Ready home theaters.
"Now, Custom Installers have access to the most powerful version of our MultEQ technology to use with Denon's flagship receiver. This software and calibrated microphone give Installers the ability to deliver a new level of sound quality to their home theater installations", said Michael Solomon, Audyssey CEO.
Jeff Talmadge, Denon's Director, Product Development and Systems Integration, noted: "Denon is committed to giving professional custom installers all the products and tools they need to provide their customers with the very best home entertainment experience possible. With the inclusion of the Audyssey MultEQ XT Room Equalization feature in our high-performance home theater receivers, installers can significantly enhance the impact and enjoyment of surround sound in their customer's homes."
Audyssey will host certification sessions for Installers throughout CEDIA Expo 2006. These sessions are free and will be held on a walk-in basis each day from 1pm to 8 pm in the Glenarm Room at the Denver Athletic Club (less than 5 minutes by foot from the Expo). Appointments are not necessary for CEDIA Expo attendees.
The Denon AVR-5805, 4806, 4306, 3806 and 2807 all currently use MultEQ XT. The AVR-5805CI also uses MultEQ XT and is the first Denon receiver to work with MultEQ Pro. MultEQ Pro is a professional PC application and offers additional benefits such as more position measurements to accommodate larger listening rooms, additional target sound options, an Audyssey calibrated measurement microphone and a Customer Certificate for displaying the improvements made to the customer's system.
