We actually got pretty excited about Omnimount's new projector mount, the PJT40. They're excited about it as well. Of course, the whole thing with Omnimount was to make something that's easy to use and easy to adjust The PJT40 is made of steel and is compatible with any proctor up to 40 pounds (as you might guess from the model number). Thanks to the Lift n' Lock system, you're able to mount the top of it into your NPT post while the bottom can attach (separately) to your projector. Then you can lift it up, turn it, and lock it in. This makes it a lot simpler and easier than your normal projector mount.
Now as far as adjustments are concerned, Omnimount added three turnbuckles that you can use to adjust roll and pitch up to 16.5 degrees (the specs say 20 degrees, but we'll go with the lower just to be safe). This makes adjustments to your projector easy, even after it's mounted. You're going to be able to line it up to the screen with an ease that's unknown with more traditional tool-based systems.
Another thing Omnimount added was a J-hook system for mounting the PJT40 to the base of a projector. The shape of these allows you to compensate and mount the PJT40 to projectors whose mounting surfaces may not be entirely flat (or perhaps you just need to give it more space or height for some other reason (like cord clearance). It's super convenient and the mount retails for around $180 with a 5-year warranty, which is going to make a lot of sense in situations where micro-adjustments to a projector are very important and you simply don't want to mess round with solutions that are cumbersome or unwieldy.
The kit comes complete with a ceiling plate, 3" NPT, projector mount and all necessary hardware.
