Emotiva ERC-8T High Resolution Audio Preview

Emotiva is once again poised to stun the industry with it's revolutionary new ERC-8T High Resolution Audio Player. Forget DVD-A and SACD.  Those formats are dead.  CD?  Ha, that's not high resolution enough.  Vinyl, yea we love vinyl but it wears out and it's bulky. 

So what's the answer?  8-Track baby!  The death of 8-Track was perhaps one of the biggest blows to the high end community back in the day.  Sure it was clumsy, unreliable and noisy but it was pure analog noise.  It had a soothing quality that would just lull you to sleep even while Rockin' Out to Styx Grad Illusion.  

Emotiva embraced the best qualities of 8-Track and made it even better with their patented process of infusing Iridium into commercial grade 8-Track tape.  Imagine hearing a format that surpasses the quality of Blu-ray, has the warmth of Vinyl and is also backwards compatible with your old 8-Tracks.  So dust off your Kansas, ELP, and ABBA 8-Tracks and be prepared to be blown away.

The same differential circuit topology found in their reference gear is also an integral part of the ERC-8T.  With available tube preamp upgrade and silver conductor wire, there seems to be no limits to the pure audiophile path this product can offer.
